Pink Saltire is Scotland’s community voice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) people of all age groups, in every corner of the country, established in 2014.
The HALO Trust is the world’s largest humanitarian mine clearance organisation. They lead the effort to protect lives and restore livelihoods for those affected by conflict. They remove landmines and make safe other weapons such as cluster bombs, stockpiles of small arms and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Born out of a desire to help the people of Afghanistan in 1988, they now have over 8,700 staff in 25 countries and territories, working to get vulnerable communities back on their feet following conflict. Millions of families have been able to return to their homes safely thanks to this work, but there is still much to do.
The Robertson Trust have been carrying out a large refurbishment to the former Stirling Barracks to create a unique and innovative facility for the benefit of the local community and wider area. They are creating Robertson House, which will house a large conference facility along with Kintail House and Berwick House which will both offer high quality, low cost office accommodation for charities and social enterprises.
