My position within the company is the Customer Services Manager and I am responsible for the cleaning team and I have to ensure that we provide clean facilities at all times in all areas of business. Wilson Washroom Services has supplied cleaning materials for a number of years and I approached them for some advice when Glasgow Science Centre got the contract to manage Whitelee Visitor Centre on behalf of Scottish Power Renewables.

Wilson Washrooms got the contract to service sanitary disposal, auto air fresheners, nappy disposal service and they also fitted out the Visitor Centre with hand soap and toilet roll dispensers. All of these products are accredited environmentally and are officially ‘Green Washroom’ products.

Because of the excellent service Wilson Washrooms provided at the Whitelee Visitor Centre, I decided to introduce all of the above services into Glasgow Science Centre. Over the past couple of years Wilson Washrooms has also provided us with AIRsteril and various vending units. Cleaning standards and services have improved within Glasgow Science Centre over the past couple of years and we have also reduced our costs by introducing new products, etc.
