We Are Leading the Way in Sanitary Bin Recycling!

We recently sent our old sanitary bins away for recycling, and the results are fantastic.
From Old Bins to New Beginnings
We have joined forces with one of our long-term suppliers who shares our determination to create sustainable bins and dispensers, reduce plastic waste and recycle old products into new ones. They have recently shared a fantastic video with us showing the recycling process. Here’s a quick rundown of how it works:
1. Granulating the Bins: The old sanitary bins are first cut into smaller pieces to fit into the granulator.
2. NIR Scanning: The next step involves using an NIR (Near-Infrared) scanner to identify the type of plastic. Our bins are made from polypropylene (PP), a highly recyclable material.
3. Granulating Process: The identified plastic parts are then fed into the granulator, which breaks them down into small granules.
4. Creating New Products: These granules are melted down and turned into pellets. The pellets are then used in plastic injection machines to create new plastic products.

Expanding Our Recycling Efforts
But we’re not stopping there! We’re also preparing to send away a whole batch of old toilet paper, soap and hand towel dispensers for recycling. By extending our recycling efforts, we aim to make an even bigger difference in reducing plastic waste.
