Wilson Washrooms have donated an Air Steril MP100 Decontamination Unit to Upper Springland Care Home in Perth. The unit will be used to sanitise the minibuses used by the residents and staff of the home.

Odours and infections, especially in washrooms and toilets, are created by bacteria, viruses, mould, fungi and volatile organic compounds found in the air and on surfaces. Regular cleaning, disinfecting and use of masking agents can’t contain the spread of powerful micro-organisms. In just eight hours, one single bacteria cell can multiply to over 8 million cells, meaning odours prevail and health risks increase.
Air Steril kills airborne bacteria in care homes
Air Steril uses five technologies proven to kill up to 98.11% of airborne bacteria within five minutes of exposure and up to 59.47% of surface bacteria and viruses within one hour. Tests included MRSA. Full Health protection Agency Report available FOC on request.
